Here to help you in planning your stay with us are some answers to most frequently asked questions. If you do not see what you need here, just contact us.
Bedding and towels
All accommodation is carefully prepared for visitor’s arrival with fresh laundry and bedding. Guests are requested to supply their own towels.
Car parking
Abundant, free, onsite, private car parking. Car parking adjacent to lodges.
Car hire
We can arrange car hire from all Scottish airports, and locally from Perth – contact us
Laundry
We provide an in-house laundry service (excludes dry cleaning) – tariffs are displayed in the rooms. Larger lodges have dishwashers and washing machines.
Smoking
In accordance with current law, smoking is now prohibited in all public rooms on the site. Smoking in certain lodges is permitted – please advise us at time of booking.
Currency and credit cards accepted
We accept £ sterling - and $ and Euro, travellers cheques (us$, sterling and Euros) for a 10% handling charge, Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Solo, Electron, JCB. All cheques require to be accompanied by a valid bank card. We are happy to arrange account facilities for corporate customers
Medical and dental
24 local doctor/medical service available nearby. Dentist within 14 miles.
Pets
Well behaved dogs of any kind are welcome in the lodges, but not in the bedrooms or on the beds! Can they please bring their own bedding. Dogs are not allowed in any of the public areas (except for guide dogs)
Disabled
Easy access to bars and public rooms, and all standard lodge bedrooms are on the ground floor. There are no lodges specifically equipped for disabled guests.
Special diets
We can cater for just about any special diets, but advance notice is preferred. Vegetarian options are available at all times in our bar and restaurant
Children and families
Children of all ages are welcome. Lovely family lodges are available. Cots and high chairs are available. We do not have baby listening facilities.
Packed and picnic meals
Packed lunch menus are available – must be ordered by 19.00 the previous evening. ‘Gourmet’ packed lunches with champagne, smoked salmon &c are also available – perfect for country sportsmen and ‘away days’.
What is and is not included in price
All quoted prices are inclusive of VAT at the ruling rate. There is no service charge. Gratuities are at the customers’ discretion

We can help you plan distillery visits, steam railway trips, castle visits and tours, themed day tours, nights at Pitlochry theatre, nature and heritage trails, guided walks and a host of outdoor and adventure activities on the local estates and surrounding countryside, rivers, hills and mountains.
Local Fishing
The hotel owns boats and rights on Loch Tay and these are available exclusively for residents by prior arrangement. Permits can also be bought for the excellent local trout and salmon fishing rivers.

Directions from the South
From M74 follow signs for Stirling, exit at J3-J4 onto M73.
Continue straight ahead onto A80.
Continue straight ahead onto M80.
Continue straight ahead onto M9 North.
Exit M9 at J10 onto A84.
Continue straight ahead onto A85 North (sign-posted Crianlarich).
Turn right onto A827 Killin.
Site is 4 miles after Killin, signposted on right hand side.
Directions from the North
From A9 South turn right onto A827 (sign-posted Aberfeldy/Crianlarich)
(the exit is a few miles after the Pitlochry exit).
The site is approximately 28 miles from the A9 (sign-posted on the left hand side).
